ST. IGNATIUS — Our board will meet on Sept. 8 to discuss a possible timeline for opening the center for in-house meals. We will certainly let you know as soon as possible.
Finally, a correction: last week I used the wrong name for our volunteer kitchen assistant. Our kitchen angel is Kay Kelly. We so appreciate her.
Menu:
— Friday, Aug. 28: Spanish rice/chicken bake, black beans, green salad, watermelon, cookies
— Tuesday, Sept. 1: sloppy Joes, tater tots, cottage cheese, fruit, brownies
— Wednesday, Sept. 2: roast beef, carrots, potatoes, rolls, fruit salad, dump cake
— Friday, Sept. 4: barbecue pork patty sandwich, chips, macaroni salad, watermelon, Rice Krispy treat
