A Plains man is accused using a rock to assault a man he didn’t know at a motel in Ronan. Todd Harold Schrier, 57, entered a plea of not guilty at District Court in Polson on Aug. 20 to felony assault with a weapon. According to court records, on July 3, law enforcement officers were called to a report of a fight at the Starlite motel. At the scene, a responding officer learned that both parties were gone.
