Hwy. 93 crash kills one, injures two others

News from Montana Highway Patrol ST. IGNATIUS — A head-on collision at U.S. Hwy. 93 MM 34, north of St. Ignatius, claimed the life of a 58-year-old Wade Tibbetts, of Ronan, and injured two others on Thursday, Oct. 21. According to a report from the Montana Highway Patrol, a northbound Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with a southbound GMC Yukon when it crossed the center line into the southbound lane at approximately 9 a.m. The Yukon left the roadway and went into a roll, ejecting its passenger, a 55-year-old Ronan woman who was transported to St. Patrick’s Hospital with injuries.
