LAKE COUNTY — Clay Shoemaker resumed duties as a deputy sheriff and school resource officer for Arlee, St. Ignatius and Charlo schools after he was cleared of all wrongdoing. Sheriff Jay Doyle reinstated Shoemaker’s position last week.
Shoemaker had been terminated for a six-week period for allegedly violating policy, but has since been cleared of all wrongdoing. He will receive back and benefits from the time of his termination.
