BIGFORK — Due to inclement weather on Saturday, track and field teams from Charlo, Ronan, and Mission were only able to compete in five events in Bigfork. While no valley athlete took a first place finish, a few landed in a top-five spot.

For the girls, the Ronan Maidens boasted two first-place finishers. Sydnee Clairmont came in at number two in the long jump, clearing 14’8” and Aspen Jore landed second throwing 117-9 in javelin.
Finishing in fourth were Lady Viking Aspen Runkel in the 100 hurdles and Maiden Lee Camel in the long jump. Charlo’s Mackenzie Foust came in at fifth in the javelin.
Up next for Ronan and Mission is a trip to French-town April 17.
Charlo will head to Thompson Falls April 17 and Missoula April 22.
