Mission-Arlee-Charlo softball won three out of four games last week, pounding Thompson Falls 15-0 before beating Plains in the first game of a doubleheader, 12-4, although the tide was reversed in the second game, with the Lady Bulldogs falling 4-14. MAC came back to win over Deer Lodge 6-2 on Saturday.
Against T-Falls, pitcher Loren Erickson threw a no-hitter that was called due to the mercy rule after five innings. Emyli Gillingham had three RBIs, while Sahriha Camacho doubled and drove in two, along with Erickson and Emilie Charlo.
In the first game against Plains, Alyssa Doty went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs. Erickson also doubled and drove one in, as did Jordyn Eichert and Camacho. Despite Erickson’s double, triple and an RBI in the second game, the Mission-Arlee-Charlo girls couldn’t stop the Trotters.
On Saturday, they held Deer Lodge to two runs behind a homer from Morgan Malatare and doubles from Doty and Emilie Charlo. Malatare had three RBIs; Doty two; and Charlo one.
MAC hosted Ronan on Tuesday for senior night and will travel to Loyola Thursday.
