ST. IGNATIUS - With the price of food today, people need additional help.
There are new income guidelines for the TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) for 2025. The federal poverty guideline for a single person is $15,660. For a family of four it is $32,150. For a family of eight it is $54,150. The Mission Valley Food Pantry in St. Ignatius (203 Blaine Street) is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., except, they are also open the last Saturday of the month. It serves St. Ignatius, Dixon and Arlee. If you have questions call 406-745-5484.

- Saturday, April 19: bake sale, raffle and the Easter Bunny will pay a visit

- Friday, March 28: hamburger gravy w/mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, biscuits, peaches, Texan cake
- Tuesday, April 1: sloppy Joes/bun, fries, veg. plate, peaches, rice Krispie bars
- Wednesday, April 2: Indian tacos, mixed fruit, huckleberry cheesecake
- Friday, April 4: pulled pork, baked beans, macaroni salad, pears, dessert
For a takeout meal, call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and by 2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Menus are available in the entryway of the center. Everyone is welcome at our meals. Come enjoy a delicious meal and good conversation. Our St. Ignatius Senior Center is available to rent. If interested, call 406-745-4462. Gentle Yoga: Wednesdays 1-2:15 p.m. - call 406-253-0177. Rate is five sessions for $65.
