ST. IGNATIUS - We have sunshine!
Regular physical activity helps to improve mobility, balance, cognitive function, reduce fall risk and improves your overall health and well-being. It’s never too late to start exercising.Walking, water aerobics, swimming, dancing, biking, and hiking are good choices. Thirty minutes of physical activity daily, five days a week is recommended. Check with your physician before starting any exercise. On Monday, March 24, a nurse at the St. Ignatius Senior Center will do toenails. Call 406-253-5114 to schedule an appointment.

- Friday, March 14: corned beef/cabbage, potatoes, Irish soda bread, apricots, green Jell-O; sugar cookie
- Tuesday, March 18: fish stick sandwiches, coleslaw, frozen mixed fruit, apple taco turnovers
- Wednesday, March 19: Salisbury steak w/mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, rolls, yellow cake
Friday, March 21: tuna noodle casserole, bread, green salad, cookie
For a takeout meal, call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and by 2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Menus for the month are available in the center’s entryway.
Everyone is welcome at our meals (young and old). Come enjoy a delicious meal and good conversation. Our center is available to rent. If interested, call 406-745-4462 and leave a message. If you have questions about obtaining Elder Commodities, call or stop by for information and an application.
Gentle Yoga is held on Wednesdays from 1-2:15 p.m. If interested, call Bonnie Kiser at 406-253-0177. Her rate is five sessions for $65.
