RONAN – Allegations of an inappropriate relationship between a Ronan High School student and a teacher were brought to administrators last week.
Superintendent Mark Johnston said names will not be released to protect the student. He was able to say that a Title IX investigation was opened after the allegations were made.
“Before the investigation concluded, the teacher resigned,” he notes in a statement prepared with the help of the school’s attorney. The teacher’s resignation was accepted during a special board meeting on Jan. 22.
Johnston said he was not able to share any other information at this time.
