ST. IGNATIUS — The turkey is a funny bird; it’s head goes bobble-bobble; and all he knows is just one word … and that is gobble, gobble.
Our center is selling raffle tickets for a Christmas basket for $1 each or six for $5. The winner of the Christmas basket will be announced on Dec. 20 at our Christmas dinner at 5:30 p.m.
The food pantry is still looking for volunteers to work Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are interested, please call 406-745-0057.
Meals can be delivered to qualified seniors and frozen meals are also available. If you would like to order a meal, please call before 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. There are no deliveries made on Wednesdays.
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
The quilters are in the center on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
On Dec. 6 Postmaster Duane will be the speaker at our evening dinner at 5:30 p.m. He will be speaking about mail fraud.
We will be closed on Friday, Nov. 24, in observance of Thanksgiving and we will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 28, serving chicken potpie at noon.
Please remember that you do not have to be a senior citizen to join us for lunch or dinner; everyone is welcome.
Also, a big thank you goes out to everyone who joined us for our Thanksgiving dinner.
