Pirates clobber Corvallis
POLSON — The Pirates continued to dominate at home with a decisive 47-14 victory over the Corvallis Blue Devils Friday night, mixing on-target passing with a solid ground game.
The team totaled 368 yards rushing on 46 carries. Nearly one-third of those yards were gained by runningback Colton Cote, who had 17 rushes and one touchdown.
Quarterback Tanner Wilson ran 11 times, tallying 170 yards and two touchdowns while passing for 176 yards and three touchdowns.
Wilson completed 10 of a dozen passes.
Wide receiver Matthew Rensvold had three catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns. On defense Rensvold stopped plays with four tackles and recovered two fumbles for the Pirates. Safety Tanner Wilson and Cornerback Cadis Chowning both had an interception.

Bulldogs bucked by Broncs
FLORENCE — The Mission Bulldogs put up a valiant effort against the Broncs Friday in Frenchtown but took a hard hit with an 8-35 loss. Gus Bosley rushed for 73 yards on 22 carries with Benton Adams adding 39 rushing yards. Troy Mitchell scored for Mission’s lone touchdown while racking up 41 yards rushing on 10 carries.
Defensively, Adams earned 11 tackles, Bosley added eight and a sack and Beebo Matt took down players 10 times.
