RONAN — The Maidens jumped to a 35-6 lead in the first quarter as they hosted rival Mission Lady Bulldogs Friday night, securing the 75-27 victory early on.
Ronan cousins Alicia Camel and Lee Camel led the Maiden scoring with 23 points apiece, with Lee securing seven rebounds.
Mission’s Tianna Brown topped her team with 10 points followed by Sydney Castor with eight points and Bryar McCrea with four. Brown and Castor each had two three-pointers. All eight players on the team rebounded, with McCrea leading at three.
Next up is an away game at Florence on Tuesday, Jan. 5, followed by a home game Thursday, Jan. 7, against Loyola.
