Golf Polson Lady Pirate golfer Ellie Thiel shot a 99 on Thursday and a 92 on Friday for a total of 191 and an 11th-place finish during the two-day Class A State Golf Tournament. The event was held in Butte at the Butte Country Club. As a team, the Lady Pirates placed fifth in the team standings. The Ronan Maidens placed seventh. Macao Jackson carded a 96 and a 102 for a 19th-place finish to pace the Maidens.
