PABLO — Warm, sunny fall weather greeted prep cross-country runners on Saturday during the Mission Shadows cross country meet. Hosted by the Polson High School Cross Country team, nearly 220 varsity and junior varsity runners representing roughly 14 schools from across Western Montana came to compete in the annual cross-country meet held on the Silver Fox Golf Course in Pablo. Ronan Chief Brant Heiner was the top varsity boys finisher out of 77 runners with a time of 16:25, helping the Chiefs finish third in the team standings.
