BUTTE — The Ronan Maidens collected a Western A divisional girls’ basketball tournament second-place trophy and a bracket slot in the upcoming State Class A tournament this past weekend. Playing in the opening round in the Western A Divisional tournament held at the Butte Central Maroon Center on Thursday, the Maidens had no trouble defeating the host Butte Central Lady Maroons 61-43. Scoring a game-high 17 points, Jaylea Lunceford led the Maidens followed by LaReina Cordova with 11 points.
