Caye sentenced for assault

POLSON — A Polson man is accused of pointing a handgun at a group of people. He was sentenced in Polson District Court on May 24 to the Montana State Prison for 10 years with all but time served suspended. Nathan Caye, 21, entered a plea of guilty to a single count of felony assault with a weapon. The plea was entered as part of an agreement reached earlier that dismisses two counts of the same. According to court records, on Nov. 26, 2022, Polson Police were dispatched to a report of a fight at the VFW tavern on Polson’s Main Street.
