POLSON — Polson Judge James Manley set a sentencing date of Dec. 15 for a St. Ignatius man convicted of participating in a jail assault and strangling his girlfriend over a car. Larrs Jalen Omingo, 21, entered into a re-negotiated plea agreement at District Court in Polson Dec. 1, that calls for Omingo being committed to the Montana Department of Corrections for a total of eight years with no time suspended.
