Wreck leads to restitution payment for injuries

A Polson man was ordered to pay restitution of $501,067.49  to the victim of a wreck who ultimately had to have a foot amputated due to injuries.  The restitution was part of the sentence handed down at District Court in Polson, on March 10, by Judge James Manley in the case of Dillon S. Bindschadler, 29. Imposition of sentencing was deferred for six years. According to court records, on Aug. 3, 2020, emergency services were dispatched to a report of a wreck involving a white Jeep and a motorcycle at the intersection of U. S.
