News from the Ninepipes Lodge CHARLO — We’re hosting a Conservation Speaker Series alongside NRCS to provide some information about conservation in the Mission Valley. We have three speakers: the first is Hilary Cooley, a Grizzly Bear Recovery Coordinator to speak about grizzly bear recovery on Aug. 23. The second speaker is Rachel Malison on Sept. 27. She will be speaking about the ecology of rivers and floodplains. The last speaker is Tim Wheeler. He will be speaking about lichens and fungi on Oct. 25. All of these events are from 6-7 p.m. at Ninepipes Lodge in Charlo.
