ST. IGNATIUS — We are well into January of our new year and I am wrapping up the paperwork for last year. Thanks to the Council on Aging, government programs and generous donors, we have been able to keep our meal service open, even though we do not see our clients in the center as often as before.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind our meal recipients that we would so appreciate donations, as our grants and other income does not pay for the total cost of preparing and delivering meals. Even if you cannot afford the cost of the entire meal, any contribution is greatly appreciated. Our delivered meals at this point are $5, of which $1 is for the delivery vehicle, gas and driver. Those of you who regularly send in checks, thank you again. In-center meals are $4.50 for adults and pick-up meals are also $4.
Our menu for the week:
— Friday, Jan, 22: Korean beef/broccoli
— Tuesday, Jan, 26: tuna loaf, veggies, fruit, dessert
— Friday, Jan, 29: soup, sandwich, veggies, fruit, dessert
To order a meal, please call by 10 a.m.
Have a great week.
