ST. IGNATIUS — Happy holiday season, everyone.
Our holiday meal will be served next Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Senior Center. Takeout orders will be taken. Please call as early as possible to reserve your meal; by 10 a.m. on the day of the meal at the latest. There will be no meal delivery on that day and please pick up take-out meals at 5:30 p.m. The holiday meal will also be sent home on Dec. 22 so that our homebound folks still get two meals on Christmas week. The center will not be delivering Wednesday and Friday meals that week because of the holiday.
During the week of Dec. 29 we will deliver a meal on Tuesday and on Wednesday, Dec. 30, with no meal on Friday, Jan. 1, because of the holiday.
In January we are planning to have our dinner at the center on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Starting in January, we will prepare one Wednesday lunch and a dinner, if we decide that a meal at the center is safe, rather than three Wednesday meals a month.
Western Montana Agency on Aging is partnering with GetSetUp to provide older Montanans with free online classes: technical, creative, health-related and others. They also host engaging social hours. This does require computer and Internet access. The coupon code for free classes is: WesternMontana.
Menu for the week:
— Friday, Dec. 18: Asian chicken stir fry, rice, veggie, fruit, dessert
— Tuesday, Dec. 22: split pea soup, sandwich, fruit salad, veggie, dessert
We wish you the best.
