ST. IGNATIUS — We are looking forward to our holiday meal next Wednesday evening, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. It will be at the St. Ignatius Senior Center, with bingo played after dinner. This will be our last evening meal for the year at the center and we hope that at some point in 2021 we can resume a more regular schedule of in-house dining. If you would like to pick up a meal on Dec. 16, please call by noon at the latest and meals will be ready to be picked up at 5:30 p.m. Also, if you are planning on attending the evening meal in person, please call so that we can plan our portions.
Our homebound “Meals on Wheels” participants will receive the holiday meal on Tuesday, Dec. 22, along with their regular meal. There is no meal on Friday, Dec. 25, so that we can all celebrate at home.
Menu for the week:
— Friday, Dec. 11: chicken dinner, potatoes, veggies, fruit, cake
— Tuesday, Dec. 15: tuna casserole with veggie and fruit sides, dessert
— Wednesday, Dec. 16: baked ham, scalloped potatoes, veggies, fruit, baked goods
