John Welker
RONAN — John Welker, 59, passed away on April 20 at his residence in Ronan.
He was born in Polson to Jerry Welker and Ella Hintz. John met the love of his life, Julie Clover, in Lakeside, Montana. John and Julie got married Aug. 8, 1980. They were blessed with three wonderful children. John’s passions in life were his family, hunting, fishing and work. He will be missed by many but we can all take comfort knowing that he is "Gone Fishin.'"
John is preceded in death by his Gram; his step-dad, Randy Hintz; his Uncle Al, and his brothers, Jay Welker and Pat Tucker.
John is survived by his father, Jerry (Sharyle) Welker; his mother, Ella Hintz, his wife of 40 years, Julie Welker; and their children: Joe (Kristen) Welker, Jake (Justine) Welker, and Jennae (James) Bowen; his grandkids: Ashlie, Joey, Brenton, Jared, and Dustyn. John had an amazing extended family that meant the world to him.
