MONTANA – Do you know or work with a leader? Someone who recognizes the value of women in the workplace and encourages women to move forward? Someone who makes a difference in the lives of others every day? If so, the Montana Interagency Committee for Change by Women invites you to nominate that individual for a 2020 Excellence in Leadership Award.
To honor exemplary leadership, achievements, and outstanding efforts to assist women to excel in the workplace, ICCW awarded three individuals with the “Breaking the Glass Ceiling Award” in 1999. The Excellence in Leadership Awards as we know them today premiered the following year, in 2000. Now in its 20th year, the ELA recognizes individuals in the categories of State Government, Public Sector, and Private Sector.
To nominate a leader, complete the packet available on our website at https://hr.mt.gov/Programs/ICCW/ELA or Facebook page at Facebook.com/montanaICCW. Complete submissions require a nomination form, nominee description (outlined in the packet), and letter of endorsement. Nomination packets must be postmarked by April 3 or received electronically (via email) by April 8.
An independent panel selects the award recipients for recognition, along with all nominees, at a ceremony in Helena at the State Capitol on Thursday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m.
