Meet, greet candidates
CHARLO — On Monday, May 7, at Leon Hall, 35964 Leon Hall Rd., a meet and greet event will take place. Dr. Al Olszewski and Troy Downing (US Senate candidates), David Coffman (Lake County Sheriff candidate), Gale Decker (Lake County Commissioner), and Joe Read (House Representative District 93 candidate) will be present.
A social time will take place between 6-6:30 p.m. A light supper and hors d’oeuvres will be served from 6:30–7:30 p.m. US Senate candidates will hold a forum from 7:30-7:45 p.m. and local candidates will follow with their own forum from 7:45-8:45 p.m.
This is your chance to get to know those candidates who truly believe in our Constitution as well as support efforts and issues within Lake County, Montana and our Federal Government Constitution. Sharbono elected Commander
News from American Legion Ronan Post No. 138
RONAN — American Legion Ronan Post No. 138 held its bi-annual election of officers on April 10. Glen Sharbono was elected as Commander of Post No. 138 and Tom Leafty was elected Vice-Commander. Immediately following the Department of Montana Convention at the end of June, they will be sworn in and assume their duties of office on July 10. Commander Sharbono will then appoint new Post officers and Committee Chairmen.
