Hear about holiday lights study at luncheon
News from Polson Chamber of Commerce
POLSON — From big cities to small towns and villages throughout the United States, communities are celebrating the holiday season with lights — lots and lots of lights. Now a Holiday Lights event just might be making its way to the Mission Valley. On Wednesday, April 5, members of the Polson Chamber of Commerce will learn more about the possibility from Jack Stivers and Sjaan Vincent, members of the Holiday Lights Feasibility Study Team.
The team includes members from Polson, Ronan and St. Ignatius and was formed in response to a community assessment conducted by the Montana Economic Developers Association (MEDA) resource team. The study identified ways in which the community could generate increased traffic and visitation on a year-round basis, rather than concentrating on the summer season alone.
The luncheon will be held at the Kwa-TaqNuk Resort from noon until 1 p.m. Cost of the luncheon is $11. Reservations for the luncheon are not required. For more information about the Chamber and its activities, call the Chamber office at 406-883-5969.
