Mariners to hold dinner, thank Hansons

POLSON — The 2017 Mission Valley Mariners baseball team will hold a Black Tie Dinner from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 17 at the KwaTaqNuk Resort and Casino. The dinner is $40 per plate.
Each year about 35 area youth from Plains, Hot Springs, Arlee, St. Ignatius, Ronan and Polson play Legion baseball.
The dinner will also thank Jami and Stacy Hanson for coaching and teaching our area youth about the game of baseball, but more importantly, the game of life. Hanson has won several state championship titles since he started coaching the Mariners 16 years ago. All past players and parents are welcome to come by to say thank you.
