ST. IGNATIUS — St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center Nutrition Director Patty Krantz will retire on Friday, Nov. 21, after many years in that position. Everyone is welcome to come to the center andexpress their gratitude and well wishes to Patty during lunch on that day, her last day on the job.
Betsy Corbitt has been hired to assume the nutrition position plus taking on duties as site manager. The center also has a new assistant cook Rachel McNeil.
Kathy Neely from the Area VI Agency on Aging will be in the center on Tuesday, Nov. 25, to inform senior citizens about Medicare plan changes. Appointments are necessary.
Pinochle sessions in the center have been discontinued due to lack of participation.
Activities in the center for the rest of November are:
• Wednesday, Nov. 19: Thanksgiving turkey dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 21: chef’s salad and soup lunch
• Tuesday, Nov. 25: pork tenderloin lunch; Medicare consultations
