News from CSKT FLATHEAD LAKE – The spring Mack Days event ended May 16. During the eighth week of fishing, a total of 25,051 lake trout entries were entered, so far. The final totals for the event will soon be tallied. Mack Days fishing events are sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Up to $225,000 in cash and prizes are awarded. Turning in $100 tagged fish were Felix Gauci, of Stevensville; Ryan Cloo-Clinton; Kolton Turner, of Kalispell; and Julie Duncan, of Polson.
