RONAN — Crustacean connoisseurs gathered at the Ronan Fairgrounds for the annual Crab Fest on Friday evening. “I love crab feeds,” said one participant who was waiting in line for a plate. “It’s a tasty and fun way to hang out with friends.” The event is an annual community fundraiser organized and hosted by the Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce. During the $40 a plate event, chamber volunteers served a little more than 250 guests with 500 pounds of opilio snow crab legs, along with melted butter, a generous bowl of baked beans, salad and bread. In addition to the meal, guests had a choice of desserts supplied by Stella’s Bakery and Deli. ...
