New well and septic maintenance publications available from MSU Extension

News from MSU News Service BOZEMAN — Montana State University Extension has two new educational folders available for private well and septic system owners. Homeowners not served by public water systems are responsible for maintaining their own well and septic systems, according to Adam Sigler, MSU Extension water quality associate specialist. He noted that a lot of problems with well and septic systems are easily avoidable with basic maintenance, and that keeping good records of that maintenance is a step in the right direction.
