Hot Springs Artists Society holds 2014 Juried Art Show through June 30
HOT SPRINGS — Hot Springs Artists Society’s 2014 Juried Art Show will be in May and June with entry forms out by the end of February. It is open to everyone. Paintings, drawings, mixed media and sculpture, carving, metal sculpture, pottery and other original handmade works of art are accepted.

St. Ignatius Mission invites Children to Kingdom Rock
ST. IGNATIUS — Kingdom Rock is a summer kids' event where kids stand strong for God. It is scheduled Monday June 23-26 and hosted by St. Ignatius Mission. At Kingdom Rock, kids participate in memorable Bible learning activities; sing catchy songs; play teamwork-building games; make and dig into yummy treats; experience epic Bible adventures; collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to stand strong; and test out Science-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with Fanfare Finale-a at 3-3:30 p.m. Kingdom Rock is for kids from 5-12 and will run from noon (lunch) to 3:30 p.m. each day. Bank fundraises for Relay for Life
POLSON/RONAN — Community Bank is having fundraisers for the upcoming Relay for Life at both the Ronan and Polson branches on Thursday, June 26.
There will be a bake and book sale starting at 9 a.m. at both branches. These will be inside the banks.
From 3-7 p.m., on the same day at the Ronan branch, there will be an ice cream sundae fundraiser in the back of the bank during the Farmers Market on Main Street.

POLSON — The annual Mission Mountain NRA Rodeo will be presented and produced by Polson Fairgrounds, Inc. and will be held Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28. Fundraiser includes fire department show and tell
POLSON — The Montecahto Club and the Finley Point volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraiser on Saturday, June 28, from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. at the fire station located at mile marker 6 on Highway 35 on the east shore. Polson Chamber holds sporting clays tournament
POLSON — The Polson Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Chamber Blast” will be held on Saturday, June 28, at Big Sky Sporting Clays. We will start with a quick beginner’s shooting clinic, followed by a shooter’s safety briefing prior to the Sporting Clays Tournament. A barbecue lunch and awards ceremony will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The cost is $110 per shooter or $330 per three-person team. Bring your shotgun, eye protection, and ear protection. ARLEE — The 55th annual Arlee 4th of July parade will begin at noon and will depart from the high school parking lot. Parade registration opens at 10 a.m. in front of the high school. Museum opens for summer
ARLEE — The Arlee Jocko Valley Museum, run by the Arlee Historical Society, opens for the summer July 4 and will be open every other Saturday from 2-4 p.m. or by appointment, until Labor Day. Artists’ reception features Goulet

Guild members asked to help at quilt show
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will meet July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Terrace Lake Community Church, rather than July 1 so everyone can enjoy the 4th of July. Show and tell will be your finished challenge UFO’s and any vintage quilts you might have. Bring your four fat-quarters for the raffle basket and items for the Country Store to be held at our Quilt Show. Raffle tickets will be available. Light refreshments are on a volunteer basis. The Quilt Show will be our main order of business, please sign up to help set up, work the show, and take down afterwards, so we have another successful show.
