Auditions to be held for children’s play
POLSON — Glacier Lily Theatre Company will be presenting “Alice in Wonderland” in August. Auditions will be held on July 18 at Boettcher Park at 1 p.m. for kids going into grades 4-12 and will start at 1:30 p.m. for kids going into grades 2-3. Kids in grades 4-12 must prepare a monologue no longer than 30 seconds long. No prepared material is needed for kids going into grades 2-3. Parts will be announced at the end of auditions.

Karaoke comedy presented in Polson
POLSON — The Port Polson Players will be presenting “Peach Pie Reunion,” a karaoke comedy starting Thursday, July 19, and running until Sunday, August 5. Curtain time Wednesday thru Saturday is 8 p.m. with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Adults are $18 and senior citizens/students are $17.

RONAN — Area friends, alumni, and Bobcat boosters are invited to join MSU Foundation president Michael Stephenson, MSU coaches, and Bobcat Club officers at a ranch barbecue west of Ronan on July 20 at 5:30 p.m. A golf scramble follows on Saturday, July 21, at 9 a.m. at Mission Mountain Country Club in Ronan. All proceeds benefit the MSU Bobcat Athletic Scholarship Fund.

ELMO — The Kootenai Tribe, also known as the Ktunaxa Ksanka Band, welcome all nations and the general public to a powwow weekend the third weekend of July at Elmo Powwow Grounds. It is an Indian gathering featuring drumming, dancing and traditional dress and food. Visitors are welcome and asked to respect the dance area, which is sacred. Grand entries are at 7 p.m., Friday and at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 20-22.

Ronan Class of 1977 invited to reunion
RONAN — The Ronan class of 1977 will have its 35th class reunion July 20 and 21. Letters were sent out in November 2011. The reunion will be at the Valley View Clubhouse. Please let us know if you are attending. The Valley View Women’s club is catering the Saturday night dinner and needs a count. We are also looking for classmates Ken Kimes and Ken Zaske. For the gathering on Friday, July 20, at 7 p.m., everyone is invited to bring an appetizer.
On Saturday, July 21, some of us will be at clubhouse at 1 p.m. visiting and playing games. Breakfast and lunch are on your own. Dinner is at 5 p.m.
