Reading programs available
POLSON – Live Mother Goose has returned at the North Lake County Public Library District. Join us Mondays at 9:15 a.m. The doors open at 9 a.m. Mother Goose is an interactive program for babies, toddlers and their caregivers that will include Nursery Rhymes and stories. Come in to play with your child and learn new action rhymes to do at home.

Buffalo Burger Fundraiser raises funds for scholarships
The Polson Kiwanis Club will hold it's annual Buffalo Burger Fundraiser on June 8 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Elks Club. Meals come with a buffalo burger, salad, pie and a drink for $10.
Funds raiser go towards scholarships for Mission Valley students.

Celebrate 71st annual Homesteader Days
HOT SPRINGS — Enjoy arts, crafts, and food booths noon to 5 p.m. Classic rock music will be played by “Outlaws and Lawmen” at Fergies Pub at 9 p.m.
Players return with needed laughs
POLSON — The Port Polson Players will reopen the theatre (after a 16-month hiatus) on June 11 with a show that will make you feel happy, lucky and relieved. “Dirty Work at the Crossroads” is a ton of fun to make you laugh out loud - something we all need. Join community-wide yard sale
CHARLO — Join neighbors on Saturday, June 12, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. for the community wide parking lot yard sale in the parking lot at Ninepipes. Clean out those closets, storage sheds and sell your items. The cost is $30 per 12 X 12 space and includes a lunch. The cost is $20 for non-profits. Bring your own setup. Play all day on second Homesteader Day
HOT SPRINGS — Enjoy arts, crafts, and food booths all day Saturday, June 12, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. There will be a car show, horseshoe tournament, rummage sale, a rodeo, live music and a street dance.

Parade, music, on tap on final Homesteader Day
HOT SPRINGS — Start the day at 10 a.m. with “Wailin’ Aaron Jennings” and the grand parade at noon. The final day of the Homesteader celebration ends with a rodeo on Main Street.

Library program meets at Sacajawea Park
POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program continues with exciting programming, guest speakers and awesome prizes. We plan to meet in Sacajawea Park across the street from the library. If the weather is bad, participants need to call the library to register for a spot for the program. Special programs will start at 10 a.m. On June 17, Officer Doyle and Canine Officer Jager will be in attendance.
SPLASH with Polson business community
POLSON — Join the business community of Polson at SPLASH (support late afternoon social hour). The sponsor of this event is the Polson Chamber of Commerce and will be held on the patio of the Flathead Lakers, 110 Main Street, Suite B, on Thursday, June 17, from 5-7 p.m. The cost is $2. Watch international chainsaw carvers
RONAN — Watch as amazing works of art are created by international chainsaw carvers from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. All four days of the Ronan Mission Valley 2021 Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous event held at Ronan Fairgrounds beginning on Thursday, June 17, and ending on Sunday, June 20.
There will be nightly quick-carve auctions, carvings for sale and craft and food vendors including a beer garden.
The main auction will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m.
An ax throwing event for all ages will be held on Saturday, June 19, from 1-6 p.m. during the Chainsaw Carvers event held at Ronan Fairgrounds.
