ARLEE — The Arlee Community Development Corporation is offering free cooking classes on April 23, 30 and May 7 from 2-4 p.m. at the Arlee Indian Senior Center. Residents of the Arlee School District are welcome to attend these classes taught by Chef Addie Steele. Students will use their new skills to help prepare a community dinner to be served May 8 at the Arlee Indian Senior Center. Attend fundraiser workout
POLSON — Join Fellowship Fitness for an epic outdoor workout hosted by Glacier Brewing Company. The workout includes 30 minutes of HIIT Cardio and 15 minutes of stretch. The $25 entry fee includes workout and a beverage with proceeds benefiting Fellowship Fitness, a local non-profit serving the community with free fitness classes. Glacier Brewing Company will also donate $1 to FF for every beverage sold on July 1. Games, food, family fun and prizes are also planned. Celebrate May Day at the library
POLSON — May Day is Monday, May 1, halfway between spring equinox and summer solstice. May Day has been celebrated since ancient times. Please join us at North Lake County Public Library in our temporary location, 301 16th Ave. East (First United Methodist Church), for a light-hearted spring program drop-in style anytime between 2-4 p.m. We will create a simple origami container and fill it with a posy. Your creation goes home with you. Designed for adults, the program is open to all ages with supervision.

RONAN — A “Food Formulation Workshop” will take place at Mission West, 407 Main Street, from 9 a.m.-noon with one-on-one sessions offered in the afternoon. Turning a recipe into a successful food product can be incredibly intimidating to take on by yourself. Come meet with product development food scientists from Oregon State University’s Food Innovation Center for a food formulation workshop concerning a diverse range of food product categories.
