MMIP Awareness Community Event held

MV Choral Society holds spring concert
ST. IGNATIUS - Mark your calendars for Mission Valley Choral Society’s “Music In Our Hearts” spring concert held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the St. Ignatius Mission. Longfellow’s quote “Music is the universal language of mankind” is exemplified in the 11 songs selected including a traditional Newfoundland folk song, two songs based on famous poems, an iconic song from the musical “Wicked,” several popular rock songs, spirituals and hymns. RONAN - The Repertory Dance Theatre, an institution of modern dance, will perform at the Ronan Performing Arts Center, 35885 Round Butte Road W, on Friday, May 16, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance (Polson at First Interstate Bank and Ronan at True Value), and $15 at the door. POLSON - On Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., you are invited to share extra plant cuttings, and excess plant seedlings with community members. Please bring healthy plants to exchange. There is no obligation to trade, and you can contribute or take plants without an exact trade. The library has a seed catalog and a small display of seed varieties.
