ST. IGNATIUS -  Mark your calendars for Mission Valley Choral Society’s “Music In Our Hearts” spring concert held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the St. Ignatius Mission. Longfellow’s quote “Music is the universal language of mankind” is exemplified in the 11 songs selected including a traditional Newfoundland folk song, two songs based on famous poems, an iconic song from the musical “Wicked,” several popular rock songs, spirituals and hymns.
