Learn to prepare artwork for sale
ARLEE — The Arlee Community Development Corporation is offering an art preparation workshop on Monday, March 24, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Participants will learn practical skills to prepare their art for professional presentation and exhibition. This workshop is designed for artists of all levels—no prior experience or artwork is required to join. Artists are welcome to bring a small two-dimensional artwork to mat, or a small sculpture to photograph. The workshop is open to anyone wanting to learn tips for preparing art for sale or display. Carolyn Hall to speak at Pachyderm meeting
POLSON - The next Pachyderm meeting will be held on Friday, March 28, at noon, at the Polson Rural Fire Station, 25 Regatta Road. Our guest speaker will be Carolyn Hall, the Lake County Superintendent of Schools. Carolyn will speak about the current legislative processes/bills being worked and where we are able to help protect our schools and our children.
Elks dinner supports parking lot
POLSON - Join the Mission Valley Elks for a pork tenderloin dinner with mash potatoes, gravy, vegetable, roll and dessert for $13 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the bar. This event is open to the public and supports parking lot maintenance and improvement.

ARLEE - The Arlee Community Development Corporation is offering a professional development workshop for artists on Monday, March 31, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Artists learn how to take advantage of professional development opportunities and become eligible teachers for the Arlee CDC. The workshop will cover the Montana Independent Contractor License process, background check requirements, and the steps in becoming a teaching artist. 4-H raffle held
LAKE COUNTY - Lake County 4-H will hold a raffle drawing on April 1. Tickets are $10 are available at MSU Lake County Extension Office 406-676-4271 or from any Lake County 4-H member. All proceeds used for 4-H awards and programming. First and second place winners receive a quarter beer, third and fourth place win half a hog and fifth and sixth place win 25 pounds of hamburger.
Begin pre-registration appointments
RONAN — Beginning Tuesday, April1, you may make pre-registration appointments for Kindergarten Round Up by calling Ronan School District No. 30 at 406-676-3390 (ext. 7700 for Pablo Elementary), (ext. 7300 for K.W. Harvey Elementary) or (ext. 7450 for Special Services Dept.). Registration and screening should be completed in approximately 30 minutes.

POLSON - The North Lake County Public Library will be closed until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, for staff training. The Joyful Cup will remain open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and you may order at the outside window.

POLSON - A public safety forum will be held on Wednesday, April 2, at 8:30 a.m. at the City Hall. This is a good opportunity for folks to hear about public safety in Polson and to speak with the Chief.

Neurodegenerative Disease Support Group to meet
RONAN - The next meeting of the Mission Valley Neurodegenerative Disease Support Group is May 3, at 1 p.m. at St Luke Community Health Care, 107 Sixth Ave. SW, in the Cottonwood Conference room. Our guest speaker will be Sarah Dempsey, MSW, SWLC, a grief counselor from St. Ignatius. She will speak on the many forms of grief as well as many other issues pertaining to grief. It will be very informative so plan on attending.
