POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is offering a free Bereavement Support Group, an eight-week series for adults grieving the death of a loved one. The group includes education about grief and loss and provides participants an opportunity to share their experiences. It is recommended that participants wait at least two months after a death before attending a group. This group is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated.

The group will meet from 4-5:30 p.m. each Thursday, Feb. 11- March 31, in the O’Malley conference room on the second floor of

POLSON — The art exhibit, Totally Fowl, features the works of Lynn Johnson – felting; Donna Miller – jewelry; Julie Christopher – sculpter/painter; Susie McNatt – photographer; and invited artist Alex Wright – multimedia; plus a special display from Viola Deputy, a memorial exhibit. The show runs through April 1. 

RONAN — Ronan School District adult education winter session is on. The walking track and weight room at the Ronan Middle School Event Center will be open Monday-Thursday at 6 a.m.- 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. The K. William Harvey Gym will be open for the community to play basketball on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m., beginning Jan. 26 and ending March 15. The Event Center will be open for the community to play volleyball on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., beginning Jan. 27 and ending March 16. POLSON — There will be a pancake breakfast fundraiser for a Polson High School’s Senior Safe Night Graduation Party. Help keep our kids safe. POLSON — The Circus of Science comes to Polson on Monday, March 21, from 5-7 p.m. in the Linderman Elementary Gymnasium.  “Motion” is a fascinating exhibit for all ages, featuring hands-on exhibits and activities that explore the wonders of physics and engineering. This event is free, open to all and sponsored by Onward and Upward, Inc. and hosted by Linderman’s third grade team.

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library in Polson will host the Humanities Montana Speakers Bureau program “Meagher of the Sword: Montana’s First Governor, Thomas Francis Meagher” presented by Neal Lewing on Tuesday, March 22. The program will be held in the library’s meeting room at 4 p.m. This living history presentation is free and open to the public.

POLSON — North Lake County Library’s Storytime program includes stories, songs, movement, crafts and more. PABLO — Pastor Levi Lusko of Fresh Life Church will bring a message of hope at the Skull Church event on Good Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m. at the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center at the Salish and Kootenai College in Pablo. Skull Church is a creation of Lusko’s, named after the hill Golgotha where Jesus died on the cross. The free event is open to the public and will feature music followed by a message from Lusko.

POLSON — On Friday, March 25, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 110 Sixth Ave., welcomes all to Good Friday services at noon for Stations of the Cross, and at 5 p.m. for Liturgy of Good Friday.

POLSON — A Polson Easter event will be held from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at Super 1 Foods. The event includes a barbecue, Easter egg coloring, bake sale, face painting and fun games. At noon, 250 Easter baskets will be given away to children, who must be present to win. ST. IGNATIUS — Holy Saturday Easter Vigil will take place at 9 p.m. at St. Ignatius Mission.

ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 26, at the football field at the school at 10 a.m. There will be prizes for each age group. The ages are newborn-three; four-six; seven-nine; and ten-twelve. Plan to come a little early to meet the Easter Bunny.

RONAN — The annual egg hunt at Bockman Park in Ronan will begin at 11 a.m. sharp on Saturday, March 26. Ages 0-12 are invited, with hunts divided into five age categories.

POLSON — Sandpiper Art Gallery will feature Olivia Olsen and her collagraph print workshop on Saturday, March 26, and Monday, March 28, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. Participants will create their own intaglio and relief prints from a collage of materials and textures glued to a hard surface, sealed, inked and run through a printing press. RONAN — On Tuesday, March 29, the Ronan High School Choirs will perform in the Ronan Performing Arts Center at 6:15 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m., as published on the school calendar. RHS Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Percussion Ensemble will follow at 7 pm.

POLSON — Mission Valley Live presents “Jitro” on Wednesday, March 30, at Polson High School. “Jitro” means “Daybreak” in Czech.
