Everyone welcome to candle lighting memorial service
POLSON — The Lake Funeral Home, Shrider Thompson Funeral Home, Partners in Home Care/Hospice and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center invite everyone to a Candle Lighting Memorial Service on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. This event will take place at The Lake Funeral Home, 101 6th Ave. E. Fundraiser takes place at Ronan Coop Brewery
RONAN — On Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Ronan Coop Brewery, a Kokua Maui fundraiser will take place to help with their Maui Ohana. Enjoy Hawaiian pulled pork sandos with pineapple slaw and a selection of tropical sweets. Music by the Late Bloomers will feature the ukulele.

The annual Elks Hoop Shoot, Free Throw Contest held
POLSON — On Wednesday, Dec. 13, the Boys and Girls Club, 110 17th Ave. W, will be the location for the Elks Hoop Shoot, Free Throw Contest. Registratin and warm up takes place between 6:30-7 p.m. The contest begins at 7 p.m.
Boys and girls from Polson, Ronan and all surrounding areas, ages 8 to 13 (as of April 1, 2023) may participate. Mission Valley Choral Society holds two Christmas Concerts
ST. IGNATIUS — Mark your calendar for the Mission Valley Choral Society Christmas Concert weekend. Concerts are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, at the St. Ignatius Mission and 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec.17, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson. Director Cathy Gillhouse has prepared an inspirational and moving musical program from spirituals to classic Christmas songs. The community choir, 40 voices strong, has existed in the county since the 1960s. The choir brings a diverse group of people together, all ages with varied backgrounds, united to inspire through music. The concerts are free and welcoming to all. A free-will offering will be taken to help the group with music expense. ShamRockers to play free Christmas Concert
POLSON — Polson’s own Montana ShamRockers present a free Christmas concert at the beautiful Theatre on the Lake on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. No reservations needed. The popular Irish band celebrates their 20th anniversary with an uplifting mix of Celtic carols, anecdotes and laughs that is open to the public and free of charge. The concert is sponsored by the Port Polson Players and Black Paw Music.
