Pachyderms to meet
POLSON — Our next Pachyderm meeting will be held on Friday, October 25 at 12 noon at the Polson Rural Fire Station. Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Public Service Commissioner Dr. Anne Bukacek. She will be presenting the first in a two part presentation about “Follow the Money - the New Green Deal.” The details for the second part of the presentation will be sent at a later date. Going forward, we will be holding the first Pachyderm meeting of each month on Tuesday evenings to encourage attendance of those who work. The logistics of the Tuesday meetings will be sent out soon. Lone Pine State Park is 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and an interpretive center with information on living in a wildlife-urban interface.
