POLSON — On Oct. 5 Sandpiper Art Gallery starts a new month-long show in memory of John Davis entitled “Driven to Abstraction.”

This non-juried show is open to all artists. Artistic interpretation of the theme, in any medium, will be accepted. Miracle of America Museum have 4 or 5 metal sculptures there, one of which is very emotionally charged about drunk driving. The show runs from Oct. 5-Nov. 14.

ARLEE — The Arlee Community Development Corporation will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. at the Hangin’ Art Gallery on Highway 93 in downtown Arlee.

RONAN — On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Mission Valley Live will present the wind quintet Chinook Winds at the Ronan Community Center at 7 p.m. Quintet members are principal players in the Great Falls Symphony Orchestra, as well as present chamber music throughout Montana. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door. ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission Valley Honor Guard announces they will perform their annual Veteran’s Day honoring at the St. Ignatius Veterans’ Wall on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. A dinner will follow at the St. Ignatius Community Center and all are invited to attend. 

POLSON — Linderman School will again honor our veterans on Nov. 11. We are inviting all veterans to our assembly and for lunch following it. Halls are being decorated now and we are looking for more photographs and stories.

RONAN – Taps will sound at the LaVerne Parrish Medal of Honor gravesite in Ronan cemetery at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, 2015, to honor all veterans past and present.

POLSON — The fourth annual “Hunter Widows' Holiday Bazaar’ will take place on Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Elks Lodge, 512 Main Street, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Get an early start on all of your holiday shopping needs. RONAN – Faith Lutheran Church in Ronan will host a multi-cultural dinner called A Feast for the Nations on Sunday, Nov. 15, at noon. The dinner will feature cuisines from nations around the world including Norway, Mexico, Germany, India, Denmark and several others, as well as art and other items from countries all around the globe. POLSON — On Tuesday, Nov. 17, the Lake County Health Department’s Parents as Teachers program’s Community Connection for November will focus on “Turkey Fun” with an art activity and snacks. ST. IGNATIUS — Pastor Bob Larssen will talk about the Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch at a meeting of the St. Ignatius Neighborhood Watch on Tuesday, Nov. 17. RONAN — Be prepared for lots of fun as the Ronan Middle School Drama Department presents a performance of the play, “Blackboot’s Lost Loot” at the Ronan Performing Arts Center on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.

The performance includes lots of pirates, lost treasure, dancing, and ducks. General admission tickets are $5 and will only be sold at the door the evening of the play.
