RONAN — WÖR is a band of five musicians whose passion and talent has led to a niche goldmine of melodies in stunning contemporary arrangements. With their finely textured arrangements WÖR injects new energy into 18th-century melodies from the Flanders region of Belgium. Their music shines an inventive spotlight, with a modern twist, on the melodies in these manuscripts. They will perform at the Ronan Performing Arts Center at the Ronan Middle School at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door. Students 13-18 are free. Students under the age of 13 are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets may be purchased prior to the day of a performance for $13 in Polson at the Perfect Shot and First Interstate Bank and in Ronan at True Value Hardware.

RONAN - Western Montana Musicians Cooperative presents Drum Circle 3 on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 7-9 p.m.   Join Doug Ruhman for an evening of drumming & fun at 1 Eisenhower St. SW. Open to all drummers, percussionists, and lovers of rhythm. Listeners welcome. Come join in on some beats. All percussion is welcome, including hand drums, kit players, etc. Several drums will be available on site, but feel free to bring your own. Charlie brought a froittoir last month and didn’t get kicked out.

RONAN - It’s time for Western Montana Musicians Co-op's Bluegrass Open Jam with Lydia Conway on Friday, Nov. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. We are located at 1 Eisenhower Street SW. A bluegrass jam is completely unplugged. We play going around the circle, taking turns choosing songs and tunes. Come ready to lead songs if comfortable, or just strum/hum along.
