Ronan High School's FCCLA is hosting a Trick or Treat Food Drive on 10/31/24. All of our RHS clubs will be competing to trick or treat for the largest number of food donations to donate to the Ronan Food Basket. Students will be collecting from various Ronan neighborhoods and will explain the cause. Let's make this Halloween a little sweeter for those in need.

Parents invited to learn mosaic art with kids
ARLEE — The Arlee Community Development Corporation is offering a tile mosaic workshop for parents and kids third grade and up on Friday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to1 p.m. The class will be taught by mixed media artist Sean Parson, who will discuss his artwork currently on display at the Arlee CDC gallery and give a demonstration of the tile mosaic creation process. Participants of all ages will have the chance to design their own tile mosaic to take home. This family-friendly workshop includes all materials and snacks. Tack manufacturer to attend MV Back Country Horsemen meeting
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their next monthly meeting on Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. at the VFW in Ronan on Round Butte Rd. KALISPELL— Lone Pine State Park is hosting an interactive family program on Nov. 9 focused on animals in wintertime. The program will be from 10-11a.m. at the visitor center. This interactive program, ideal for elementary-aged children and their families, reveals the unique ways animals cope with freezing temperatures and snow. From true hibernators like ground squirrels and bats to animals like bears that enter torpor and others, such as snowshoe hares and foxes, that stay active, participants will explore the hidden world of winter wildlife.
