POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library is your Literary Trick or Treat Stop. Come to the library anytime during open hours of 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, to share your costume and get a treat. Library staff will be ready with costumes and candy. All ages welcome. Happy Halloween! 

POLSON — It’s Festival time! Festival of Trees that is. This will be the Festivals 22nd year in Polson. Mark your calendar for Saturday, Dec. 3. The Festival generates funds for the Mission Valley Youth Foundation. This allows us the opportunity to serve a greater number of youth based organizations, programs and charities in the Mission Valley. The Mission Valley Youth Foundation solicits applications from youth based non-profit programs within the Mission Valley. If you are a youth based non-profit entity and would like to request funding, you can pick up an application form from one of our board members or submit an email to: mvyouthfoundation@gmail.com. Please include your mission statement and a short description detailing your monetary request. Mission Valley Youth Foundation would also like the community to reach out to us with your suggestions of youth organizations that you’d like to see supported. The deadline for submission is Oct. 31, 2022. Thank you for your continued support of the Festival of Trees and Mission Valley Youth Foundation.

IGNATIUS — The Mission Valley United Methodist Church at the top of Post Creek Hill on U.S. Highway 93 will hold a Trunk or Treat event on Monday, Oct. 31, from 4-7 p.m. All goblins are welcome to come check out the goodies that will be available. We will also welcome anyone that wants to participate.

RONAN — Every Thursday, from 11 a.m.-noon, the Ronan Library holds a reading program geared toward the developmental needs of children 3-6 years old. The weekly program offers interactive readings, activities, and guided crafts for children. Call the Ronan Library at 406-676-3682, for more information.

POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library continues their “Progressive Sale” in their gift shop. Discounts begin at 10% off and further discounts are applied each Monday through Christmas. Shop early for the best selection of items for yourself and the book lovers in your life.

POLSON — Carole Carberry’s artwork “Just Beautiful Things,” will be show cased at the Sandpiper Art Gallery until Dec. 31. Carol is a multi-media artist with a particular interest in watercolor, calligraphy and printmaking. From an early age, she enjoyed an inherited artistic ability and a love for drawing. POLSON — On Friday, Nov. 4, Anna Dupuis and Gloria Stascavage will play folk music on the fiddle and the guitar starting at 3:30 p.m. at the North Lake County Public Library. Feel free to sit and enjoy this live acoustic music event. It is always fun.

We will have an amazing sale at The Barn; so grateful to Lucy and Denny for letting us use their facility. Lucy‘s decorations alone will blow your mind. RONAN — WÖR is a band of five musicians whose passion and talent has led to a niche goldmine of melodies in stunning contemporary arrangements. With their finely textured arrangements WÖR injects new energy into 18th-century melodies from the Flanders region of Belgium. Their music shines an inventive spotlight, with a modern twist, on the melodies in these manuscripts. They will perform at the Ronan Performing Arts Center at the Ronan Middle School at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door. Students 13-18 are free. Students under the age of 13 are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets may be purchased prior to the day of a performance for $13 in Polson at the Perfect Shot and First Interstate Bank and in Ronan at True Value Hardware.
