Advent services Wednesdays through Dec. 21
POLSON — Midweek Advent services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Nov. 30, and continue each Wednesday through Wednesday, Dec. 21. Soup supper will start at 5:30 p.m. with the services starting at 6:30 p.m. The theme is “The Ultimate Advent.”
Church hosts community dinner
ST. IGNATIUS — The free St. Ignatius Community Dinner will be served on Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Community Center (next to Cenex gas station). POLSON — The Community Dance will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Elks Club from 7-10 p.m. Ken’s Country Combo will provide live music.
Lake County Republican Women to meet
POLSON — The Lake County Republican Women will meet Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Sheriff’s room at the Polson Rural Fire Department building on Regatta Road near the fairgrounds in Polson. All current members, past members, associate members, and prospective members are invited to attend. A slate of officers for the coming year will be presented for election. Events will be planned and put on the 2017 calendar. Please bring suggestions for program speakers. In addition to a full business agenda, refreshments will be served. Fellowship in keeping with the Christmas season is promised. Come and enjoy.

Audubon program speaker talks fishing
POLSON — “Sustainable Fishing, Coral Reef Restoration and SCUBA Diving in the Philippines” by Heather Jameson and Warren Hansen will be Mission Mountain Audubon’s next program on Thursday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. in the Polson Library meeting room. Everyone is welcome.
Christmas celebrated at the museum
POLSON — The monthly free “Night at the Museum” takes place every fourth Thursday evening of each month at 6:30 p.m. It is held at the Miracle of America Museum, at 36094 Memory Lane. On Dec. 22 we will sing Christmas carols, have a reading of the Christmas story and show “Mr. Krueger’s Christmas,” starring Jimmy Stewart. Treats and donations are appreciated. Free resolution party offered for youth
ST. IGNATIUS — A free pre-New Year’s Eve Resolution Party open to all youth in grades 5-12 will take place Friday, Dec. 30, starting at 6 p.m. with food and games at CrossCollar Academy, 20 First Ave., in St. Ignatius. At 7 p.m., artists Taj Bo Kjelland, and Anthony Yazzie will be in attendance. There will be games, a photo booth plus snacks, dancing and a few surprises until curfew. ST. IGNATIUS — Preston Miller and Merle Parise will show and run antique toy trains in the old Ravalli Depot at Four Winds Trading Post, three miles north of St. Ignatius on Highway 93 on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, from noon to 4 p.m. The Ravalli Depot, built in 1885 and moved here in 1973, houses a large collection of Railroadiana Toy Trains and Native American collectibles. Admission is free. Bring the kids and you will return every year.
