‘Good Old Days’ provides three days of fun
ST. IGNATIUS — “Good Old Days in St. Ignatius” is three days of family fun in the Good Old Days Park. This year’s event will be held July 19-21. Friday family night will start with a barbecue dinner, followed by entertainment and fireworks. Saturday will be the Buffalo Run, pancake breakfast, parade, fun and games in the park, lots of special events and food. Sunday, a fly-in at the airport with free airplane rides for children ages 8 to 17.
Class of 1963 plans busy reunion during Good Old Days
ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission class of 1963 will celebrate its fiftieth-year reunion during St. Ignatius Good Old Days, July 19-21. On Friday July 19 we meet at Ron and LaVonne Olmsted’s at 1 p.m. to work on the float. That evening we meet at Good Old Days Park for the Chamber of Commerce barbecue from 5:30-7:30 p.m. On Saturday those who wish may have breakfast from 7 a.m.-noon at St. Ignatius Senior Citizens' Center and then meet at the school for the parade, ride on the float and have lunch at the park. We meet at the quad on the south side of the high school at 2 p.m. to tour the school. Any other classes that are meeting are welcome to join us. After 3 p.m. we gather at the Olmsted’s for visiting and a picnic catered by the Amish.

St. Ignatius holds “little ones” pageant
ST. IGNATIUS — Little Miss and Mr. Good Old Days Pageant will be held Friday, July 19, at 2 p.m. in the Saint Ignatius Elementary School cafeteria. Classmates to celebrate turning 75 years old together
ST. IGNATIUS — The classmates of St. Ignatius class of 1956 plan to celebrate turning 75 years old by riding on a float in the Good Old Days parade on July 20. Classmates meet at the high school at 10 a.m. to prepare for the parade. A barbecue at Chuck’s place will follow the parade. Call (406) 755 5850 or (406) 745-44544, for more information.
Runners run for fun in St. Ignatius
ST. IGNATIUS — The 2013 Buffalo Run in St. Ignatius is a 1-mile Fun Run, a 4-mile run-walk, a 7-mile, and a half-marathon. The half-marathon starts promptly at 7 a.m. All other races start at 8 a.m. The races start on Main Street in front of Gambles. Pre-entry deadline is July 16, and the cost is $20 for pre-registration with a T-shirt, and $10 without. All registration postmarked after July 16 will be considered day-of-the-race registration, which is $25 with a T-shirt and $15 without. Entry forms are available at: stlukehealthnet.org.

Advocacy skills taught to parents, caregivers
ST. IGNATIUS — Are you asking the right questions when advocating for your children with school, medical providers, housing programs and social services?
The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition is sponsoring a training titled “The Right Question Project,” on July 31 from 6-9 p.m. at Mission Valley United Methodist Church, 70715 Highway 93, top of Post Creek Hill.
The class is limited to 30 participants; contact Cathy at (406) 745-4259 to reserve a spot. Registration deadline is July 29. There will be a get-acquainted potluck at 5:30 p.m.
