Golf tourney supports ALS victims
RONAN — The 13th annual Ken Sagmiller/Pat Williams ALS memorial and scholarship scramble will be held on Saturday, July 11, at the Mission Mountain Golf Course. This annual tournament is named for two local golfers who passed away of the terrible disease of ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a deadly disease for which there is no known cure. Proceeds from this tournament support victims of ALS and provide scholarships to the youth of Lake County. Call the golf course at 406-676-4653, for further information.
Library closes for the day
RONAN – The Ronan District Library will be closed today so that staff may attend a funeral.

Learn QuickBooks at LCCD
RONAN — Lake County Community Development Corporation will host a QuickBooks Basics workshop July 17, at LCCD’s office. This workshop covers the purpose of accurately maintaining financial records for your business; how to maintain a bookkeeping system on your own; the computerized bookkeeping QuickBooks; the cash vs. accrual method and many other related topics. PEO proceeds used for scholarships
RONAN – The Lower Mission Valley Chapter of PEO will hold their annual rummage sale on Friday, July 17, on the west side of Ronan Community Bank, across from the city park. It will be open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Baked goods, clothing, household goods, accessories, books, games and miscellaneous items will be available for sale. All proceeds from the sale will be used for PEO sponsored scholarships for women.
