Fundraising on Facebook for Ridnour
RONAN — A raffle fundraiser for Ronan Subway manager Laura Ridnour will take place on Facebook. Raffle prizes include an oil change with tire rotation and car wash, a bike, artwork, food items and many, many more. A separate raffle will take place for a rifle and scope. Tickets are $5 each. Marketing discussed at Women’s meeting
RONAN – The Lake County Community Development’s ‘Women Supporting Women’ will hold a lunch meeting at the LCCD building at 407 W. Main Street on May 21. The meeting takes place between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. with Arlene Templer of Native Spirit sponsoring lunch. Laurie Dassonville will speak about marketing.

Storytime experiments with dancing colors
RONAN – Ronan District Library’s theme for the month of May is “True Colors.” On May 21 the stories Harold and the Purple Crayon and Ms. Tiffany’s Favorite Book will be read and then participants can do the fun “Magic Milk” experiment with dancing colors.

LCCDC offers workshop
RONAN — LCCDC will offer the two-day workshop, Creating Value and Building Wealth, on Wednesday, May 26, and Thursday, May 27 at their 407 Main Street location, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The most successful businesses have found that the key to long-term success revolves around effective financial management. In this hands-on workshop, we will cover among other things: The Seven Steps to business success.

Storytime features color stories, portraits
RONAN – Ronan District Library’s storytime will feature I Love You the Purplest and My Many Colored Days.
A finger paint self portrait activity with the color that most says how you feel today will follow the stories. Storytime takes place on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Quilt guild meets in Ronan
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Ronan at the Terrace Lake Community Church on Terrace Lake Rd. The Quilt Show will be the main topic. Please bring in your completed Country Store items, your thank yous to Bev Roundy for the quilt books she provided to all of us last month, and your show and tell.
