RONAN – Be entertained as the Ronan High School Drama Department presents a performance of  “Arsenic and Old Lace.” General admission tickets only will be sold at the door the evening of the play. This performance will be at the Ronan Performing Arts Center on Friday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. All seats will cost $5.

RONAN — There will be a fundraiser for Laura Ridnour, who is fighting breast cancer, on May 9 at True Value parking lot in Ronan. Raffle items will be on display. Raffle tickets can be purchased at Subway, True Value, Discount Carpet, and the Second Chance Saloon.

RONAN — The Lake County Council on Aging will be having their fifth annual Mother’s Day luncheon on May 9. It will be held from noon-2 p.m. at the Mission View Senior Center in Ronan. Tickets are $10 per person and are now available at the LCCOA office at 528 Main Street SW in Ronan or by calling the LCCOA at (406) 676-2367. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance only.

RONAN – The VFW Ladies Auxiliary will meet on May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Ronan, 35981 Round Butte Road. New members are welcome. For more information, call Marge Fay at ( 406) 676-3380.

RONAN – Ronan District Library’s theme for the month of May is “True Colors.” On May 14 the stories A Color of his Own and The Mixed up Chameleon lead the way for us to make a cool Chameleon “wheel” that changes colors.

RONAN — University of Montana coaches and staff will again participate in the annual Tana Bockman Memorial Golf for the Griz Tournament on Friday, May 15. The event will be held on the Mission Mountain Golf Course in Ronan. The four-person, 18-hole, co-ed scramble will tee off with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.

A pig roast barbecue and prize presentations will take place at 4 p.m. There will also be a silent auction and door prizes.

All proceeds from the tournament go to scholarships for U of M Grizzly student athletes. The Mission Mountain Chapter of the University of Montana Scholarship Association sponsors this event.

RONAN — Mission Mountain Food Enterprise Center, 407 Main Street SW., is having a free Montana Lentil Burger cookout from noon-1 p.m. Friday, May 15. Come by and enjoy a tasty burger and check out what other local products are produced right here in Ronan.

RONAN – Grab some coffee, gloves and trash bags and help clean up our town. Meet at 9 a.m. for Ronan’s annual spring-cleaning at the Ronan City Park. Disposal containers will be on-site and a yard debris dumpsite will be available. For more information, call City Hall at (406) 676-4231.

RONAN — The American Legion Auxiliary Ronan Unit #138 is meeting on May 19 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall. New members are welcome. For information, call (406) 210-0381.

RONAN — A raffle fundraiser for Ronan Subway manager Laura Ridnour will take place on Facebook. Raffle prizes include an oil change with tire rotation and car wash, a bike, artwork, food items and many, many more. A separate raffle will take place for a rifle and scope. Tickets are $5 each. RONAN – The Lake County Community Development’s ‘Women Supporting Women’ will hold a lunch meeting at the LCCD building at 407 W. Main Street on May 21. The meeting takes place between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. with Arlene Templer of Native Spirit sponsoring lunch. Laurie Dassonville will speak about marketing.

RONAN – Ronan District Library’s theme for the month of May is “True Colors.” On May 21 the stories Harold and the Purple Crayon and Ms. Tiffany’s Favorite Book will be read and then participants can do the fun “Magic Milk” experiment with dancing colors.
