RONAN — The Lake County Democrats will meet on Wednesday, April 16, at the Ronan Tribal Senior Citizens Center from 6:30-8 p.m.  The meeting begins with a social followed by a business meeting to discuss preparation activities for the upcoming 2014 election.

RONAN — The Friends of the Ronan Library invite you to “Community Appreciation Day.” Stop by the library all day Wednesday, April 16, for cookies, punch or ice tea.

RONAN — Ronan School District No. 30 Board of Trustees will have a special meeting at noon on April 16, 2014.

RONAN — Lighthouse Christian is hosting “Night of Passion” on Good Friday, April 18, at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Ronan, 207 Eisenhower Street. We will begin at 6 p.m. with snacks, (please bring something to share), followed by a time of Worship at 7 p.m. There will be a special guest band from YWAM Lakeside and also the Lighthouse Worship Team.

RONAN — Mission Mountain Enterprises would like to invite everyone to the 20th annual Ronan Ronan Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. sharp. The event will be held at Bockman Park (Ronan City Park). The Easter Bunny is scheduled to appear and will be available for pictures before and immediately after the hunt. There will be five age groups: 0-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-7 years, 8-9 years and 10-12 years. A sack of goodies will be given to all egg hunters and some baskets for prize eggs.

RONAN — Faith Lutheran Church will have special services on Easter Sunday. The early service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The second service will begin at 11 a.m. with special music by Dixie and Tom Hall. All are welcome to join our Easter celebration. Faith Lutheran is located at 406 Fifth Ave. SW.

RONAN — Lighthouse Christian Fellowship’s sunrise Easter service will be at Rocky Butte in Ronan at 7 a.m. followed by a potluck brunch in the Lighthouse Café at 8:30 a.m. There will only be one worship service starting at 10 a.m. Please bring your favorite breakfast dish to share.

RONAN — The Ronan Pablo Education Association will be hosting a candidate forum on Wednesday, April 23, at 7 p.m. in the Ronan Performing Arts Center, for the upcoming Ronan School District #30 school board trustee election. All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The student council will be hosting a spaghetti feed prior to the forum in the RMS Commons beginning at 5:30 p.m.

RONAN — Mark your calendars for the Ronan School District #30 Kindergarten Round Up pre-registration. This registration is for the upcoming 2014/2015 school year and will be held at the Ronan Middle School on Thursday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. To be eligible for kindergarten, a student must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 10, 2014. Parents must bring the birth certificate and immunization record for their child. Children, who will be registering, will be screened in hearing, speech, vision and school readiness skills. For your convenience, immunizations will be provided, as needed. Registration and screening should be completed in approximately one hour, so please plan accordingly.

RONAN — On Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Early Childhood Services will put on their ninth annual “Baby Fair.” Join the fun at the Ronan Event Center. Event to include: family resources; fitness activities; CPR & First Aid for Infants; Ronan Library Circle Time; family portraits; dental, OT, speech, and 0-3 month developmental screenings, a cake walk, a free lunch and much, much more, including door prizes galore. RONAN — The annual Ronan Volunteer Fire Department’s Breakfast will be held on both Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, at the Community Center in Ronan.

RONAN — K. William Harvey Elementary School in Ronan will hold their new kindergarten open house on Monday, April 28 from 6-7 p.m.
