Volunteers needed for Easter Egg Hunt
RONAN – Mission Mountain Enterprises will host the 21st annual Easter Egg Hunt at Ronan City Park on Saturday, April 4. Egg laying (hiding) begins at 9 a.m. with the hunt starting at 11 a.m. sharp. Everything should be done and cleaned up by noon. Volunteers are needed to assist with the event or contributions would be appreciated. Call Jeannie at (406) 676-2727 or send an email to: tbutn@ronan.net. Age groups are: 0-2, 3-4, 5-7, 8-9, and 10-12. There will be a goody sack for all hunters. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures, please bring your own camera. The Ronan business community sponsors all this fun.

Sunrise service planned
RONAN — The Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Easter sunrise service will be at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, at Rocky Butte, south of Ronan and west of Bouchard Rd. We will then move to Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 207 Eisenhower Street SW, for Easter brunch potluck and fellowship at 9 a.m. followed by one Worship Service at 10 a.m.
Two morning Easter services planned
RONAN — Faith Lutheran Church in Ronan will have two Easter services on Sunday, April 5. One service is at 8:30 a.m. and another is at 11 a.m. The men of our congregation will serve a free breakfast beginning around 9:30 a.m. in our basement Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.

Horsemen to learn about Bear Dogs
RONAN – Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their monthly meeting on April 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ronan VFW on Round Butte Road. Our program will be about Karelian Bear Dogs presented by Natalie Champoux. Tickets for our annual steak ride on May 3, at the Meuli Ranch in Dayton will be available at the April meeting or you may call Marie Hall at (406) 676-0231 or Dennesse Schauss at (406) 883-5876 for tickets. The public is invited and encouraged to attend our meeting. Come see what our organization is all about.
Quilters prepare for Potato Social
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild’s next meeting is on April 7 at the Terrace Lake Community Church. Our annual Potato Social is at 6 p.m. Plan to come early to set up. Bring toppings, salad or dessert. Everyone is welcome. Kay will demo the Strip Tubing Ruler. There is a new category for our Quilt Show this summer - junior/youth. Election of officers will take place at the May.

RONAN — The Mission Valley Heritage group will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at the Ronan Senior Citizen’s Center. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

RONAN — Residents may join Ronan Police Chief Ken Weaver for “Coffee with the Chief” Monday, April 13 at Stella’s Coffee Shop, 62599 U.S. Highway 93 from 9-10 a.m.
“Coffee with the Chief” is a recurring event that will take place the second Monday of each month at various locations in the City of Ronan from 9-10 a.m.

Show motivates science students
RONAN – On Tuesday, April 14, at 6 p.m. in the Ronan Performing Arts Center the Mr. G Science Show will take place. This is a free presentation so bring the whole family.
Mr. G combines the dynamics of music, lasers, raw eggs, fiber optics, toilet paper and all sorts of other materials with clear explanations to motivate students in science. This is a special opportunity for students, teachers and families to be exposed to unique demonstrations of scientific concepts and captivating phenomena. Another fun event sponsored by the Ronan PTA.
